	Ashcroft Elementary School currently enrols approximately 113 students in grades Kindergarten through 7, with six divisions. The school building houses nine classrooms, a gymnasium, a library and computer lab, as well as the Gold Trail Open Learning Program. The original school building was built in 1955, making this year our 52nd birthday. Ashcroft Elementary provides a structured academic program with a focus on improving Literacy and Social Responsibility skills. A.E.S. is a culturally enriched learning environment and offers numerous opportunities for student leadership. This school is committed to child centered learning in all aspects of Education – including the development of self-esteem, problem solving skills, self-discipline and personal responsibility – which are delivered in a positive learning environment. A.E.S. provides a safe and nurturing environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential, to become socially responsible citizens and to pursue life long learning. Ashcroft Elementary School benefits greatly from the fantastic support of parents who are involved in many aspects of our school life, making our school an even better place to be.
